Kahapon naman, dumating na si Tito Ric. We went to Duty Free. Super sale kaya sila. Todo natataranta na naman si Mommy. She bought things that i bet she dont need. And stuffs na super sale, like the Ella Morissa jewelries. Super nice, and super marked down ung price nila. And the best things that happened yesterday was me and my cousins reconciled. It's been a year since we had a pretty fight. Pero ok na ngyn. and i really do missed them.

Nursing Gone Mad - Surplus of Philippine Nurses

No, the Nurses have not gone mad, but the Nursing degree is. Latest statistics released showed that of the 70,000 nursing graduates who passed the Nursing Board Exams in 2007, half of them are still unemployed.
If there is truth to this report, then this is very alarming. The Philippine Nursing Association (PNA) further disclosed that with the decline of Nurse demands in the United States and United Kingdom - the two biggest employers of Philippine nursing graduates, more and more nursing graduates end up unemployed, while many of them settled to work in Call Centers, retail stores and other non-professional positions.
It is about time that the government take action on the proliferation of many schools offering nursing courses - most of which do not even meet the criteria set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) standards. PNA also added that some of these so called “nursing schools” are merely cashing in on the popularity of Nursing and are taking advantage of those students who wanted to work overseas. Parents are also part to blame, since Nursing is seen as the ticket towards working in another country to earn better income.
This oversupply of Philippine Nurses will continue as the United States have implemented a stricter rule since 2006 and decreased its requirements, adding to the “visa retrogression” problem. The U.K. has adopted a policy to hire local health workers.
By August or September, the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the June 2008 Nursing Board Exam results and list of passers - that’s another batch of young, hopeful Nurses where a number of them will again probably end up unemployed or be employed in non-related jobs.

i miss my DDG. before, nageexchange gift pa kame during valentines. but now, nde na. super busy na sa kanya kanyang buhay. imiss them sooo much. kay kate at jordan, sorry i we're not able to go to the bar last night. duty ako eh. damn, sa east ave ako magvavalentines. and to my mom, sorry kung di ako kasama sa date nyo. kayo na lang muna ni jury. heheh i love you.

4:00AM pa lang, gising na ko. di ko alam kung excitement ba oh ano. ang inaasahan ko kasi, hindi ito tipikal na araw para sa mga kaklase ko at sa dalawa pang ibang section. naligo ako at nagmamadaling kinuha ung bago kong damit. (binili ni mommy para masuot ko ngayon). acutally, nasuot ko na ung nung kasal ni kuya no, pero para talaga sa seminar yun kaya ko pinabili.

so todo ayos pa ako at make up. pagtapos ko magprepare, ginising ko na si jury at nagpaalam na ko. pagbaba ko, tinawag ako ni mommy. kumain daw muna ako. edi ako naman si natuwa at may almusal. pagkita ko, wow, beefsteak at ampalaya. kumuha ako ng pinggan at nagsandok ng kanin. uuuy, unang subo pa lang natulala na ko. halatang nagmadali lang nanay ko magprepare ng breakfast. matigas pa ung baka at hilaw pa ung ampalaya. pero di na ko nagreklamo. kinain ko nalang at umalis na ko.

sa fx. rap na ni-rap ulit na bleeding love ang tugtog. na di ko alam kung nakakagising o nakakaantok. nakakaumay pakinggan un. grabe.

8:00AM at the Auditorium our seminar entitled Link to a Better Future is said to be our 8th and last rotation for our last sem. Kaya todo prepare naman kami. Section namin ang naka-toka sa physical arrangement ng location. P200 ang bayad sa seminar na to. Nung panahon ni jury, P150 lang, maganda na seminar nila, at Chowking pa pagkain nila. Xmpre, kasama na din sa excitement ko ung pagkain.

Pagdating ng skul, uminit agad ulo ko.

Guard - Ako
Guard: Oi miss, san ka? Bakit di ka nakauniform? San ID mo?
Ako: Eto ID ko. Sa seminar ako sa taas.
Guard: Hindi pwd. wala kang permit.

Guard: Oo. Pero maraming studyanteng wais, sasabihin sa seminar pupunta pero hindi.
Ako: Kuya, pormal suot ko oh. Muka ba kong ndi pupunta ng seminar? at sino naman magsusuot ng corporate attire tapos tatambay lang ng skul tapos di pupunta ng seminar? Ang aga aga wala kayo sa rason.
Guard: sumusunod lang ako, wag ka sakin magalit.
Ako: Maging reasonable kasi kayo.

At wala akong nagawa, tinext ko nalang si Kamille para kausapin ang hayup na guard. Pagdating ni Kam, todo text na ung sumundo sa speaker na si Leah Samaco - Paquiz. ang ex-president ng Philippine Nurses Assoc. Sosyal. Hatid sundo pa ang lola. Edi todo away na ginawa namin sa guard.
Nang matapos ang alitan namin ng guard, tumuloy na kami sa 7th floor. Humanap ng magandang pwesto ng upuan, at ayan na. Nagsimula na silang gumalaw. Si Candice at Alvin ung host. Si Candice, kaklase ko simula 201 to 204. Tpos si Alvin naman nung 200.

Di pa man tumatayo ung guest, eto na agad ang ika ng mga host. "we will have an intermission number from section G." o diba bongga. di pa man simula inter na agad. hehehe dapat man lang energizer eh. ayun si ate, at bumirit ng cant fight the moonlight. hahaha medyo nagokrayan lang kame ni ola nun. medyo laughtrip. hehe di nman hindi maganda ung boses nya. parang di lang akma talaga. hehe tapos tinawag na si Mrs. Leah Samaco - Paquiz.

Ooops ate, Take note ang Touch of Yellow Green na outfit. hahaha tapos nun, tawanan na naman kami nila ola.
Second intermission na. Medyo kinilig kame, kasi si kuya with the violin eh, parang nagadvance na valentines cya sa harap namin. Kumanta ung girl ng Heaven with matching violin, hiniram pa nya ang back up musician nya sa UST Conservatory. ha db. sosyal. hehe

After nun, nag open forum na. Question and answer portion. Wala naman ang nagtanong, isa lang bout sa inspiration pa. Tapos, natapos na ung seminar na sobrang pinaghandaan, pinagkagastusan "daw". Inaantay nalang daw namin ung food. Food na akala namin pwdeng matuwa ung mga bulate ko sa tyan. Ngunit, nanlaki lang mata ko nung inabutan ako ni dinosaur ng isang chiffon ng goldilocks. Bigla ko nalang nasabing, eto lang yun? Wala mang lang tubig. take note. HAHA. May softdrinks naman. kaso hundred years bago nila pinamigay. kakayamot talaga. Kaya yang mga presidente ng ibang section. Pakilathala naman ung mga expenses. Bakit Mamon lang pinakain nyo samin. Studyante pa lang tayo ang dami ng kurakot. Pano pa kaya pag tumanda na kayo. Mabaog na mga may pakana nito. Mark my words.

Quarantined.

"NOVEMBER 2008 RESULTS BULLETIN : BON Quarantined today. Result will be released within the next 10 Days.The Board of Nursing started its quarantine today, February 08 2009. Deliberations about the passing rate, top performing schools and the topnotchers are already finished by the BON and the PRC rating and statistics division.The Quarantine is performed when the results is to be release as to prevent the BON from influencing any aspect of the results.Results will be release anytime within the next 10 days. Passing rate is at a usual percentage of 40s but can still change.Results will be release here in pinoyBSN 1 day before the national release."

Ano naman ang nangyari bakit ngayon lang? The nurse aspirants took the exam last November 30 & 31, 2008. What took them so long? Why does it have to be ages for them to release the results. Tatahimik lang ako kung manual ang pag check nila nang papel. Pero hindi diba? Yung 90,000 na nagtake hindi maka go on sa ADL nila dahil sa suspense na dulot ng results. Haaay. Okay. Sabi nga nila kahit anong himutok ko dito, kung ayaw pa nila, wala akong magagawa. Magaantay na naman tayo ng 10 days. Sana by that time tapos na talaga.
